Camille Sioco is a full time account and office manager by day, and a fashion blogger by night. Her popular blog Frilly Skirts consists of many stylish outfits, cute nail designs and numerous Look Book posts.

I came across Camille through instagram and after seeing her amazing photos, I reached out and we got talking about collaborating. Not longer after, we organised a shoot together where Camille styled herself and I looked after the hair, makeup and photography side.

Believe it or not but we shot these images on a VERY VERY cold and windy afternoon. It was so windy that were were both being pushed around by the strong winds and my camera bag which I left on the ground (with my canon 7D in it) tipped over and was close to flying away!

Nevertheless we both soldiered on that afternoon and managed to create some beautiful images. I’m super happy with the outcome and even more thrilled that I made an awesome new friend along the way!

I hope you guys love the shots as much as I do!

I don’t wear contacts often but I’m currently loving the ones from desiolens.com

Unlike other coloured contacts I’ve worn in the past, these ones are super comfortable to wear and I could hardly feel that I had them on. I also really like that these lenses have a combination of colours, making them look more realistic. The ones I’m wearing are called “desert dream” and they give your eyes the heat of the desert sands softened by sunset- sounds super seductive right?

I’d highly recommend these lenses if you’re looking for realistic coloured contacts.

I recently teamed up with SchwarzkopfViktoria Novak and Fashion Blogger, Joanne Phua to create some awesome images for the “Australia’s Most Beautiful Hair” competition.

I was the makeup artist and photographer for the shoot, so I had complete creative control! Seeing that I was quite new to photography, I felt somewhat nervous on the day. Luckily, the day ran smoothly and Joanne was such a lovely person to work with. I’ll definitely be working with her again in the future!

It is important to prep and apply a good base on clients with acne prone skin. Sometimes the pimples can be quite sore and dry so take extra care when working around those areas and make sure you chose the best type of foundation for their skin type. Try not to apply too much product as you don’t want their skin to look cakey. It’s best to use a green based concealer to cover any redness and remember to apply powder to set your base.

Below is a before and after image of a client who suffered from acne.
